Cool Off in Vienna

Vienna is a great choice for Christmas Markets and the city certainly has no shortage of them.

The city is also creating more illuminations alongside the markets and most run from mid to late November to late December. Some finish around Christmas Eve while others turn into New Year Markets after Christmas.

In addition to the markets why not try some of the free performances in the city such as the Wind Orchestra Performance Rathausplatz which runs from 30.11.18 up until 23.12.18 where you can hear several wind orchestras from Austria performing nightly between 20:00 - 20:30 (free entry) or perhaps you would prefer Advent singing where International and Austrian choirs perform in the impressive ballroom at the Viennese Town Hall which you can reach by the entrance at the Lichtenfelsgasse.
