Arrive Calgary, Canada
Welcome to Canada!
Today you arrive in Calgary, collect your car hire and make your way to the city for your first night. The evening is at leisure to relax or perhaps sample the Calgary nightlife. Your hotel is located near the theatre district, luxury shopping and many restaurants, pubs and galleries.

Day 2 - 3
Calgary to Banff
Depending on the arrival time of your flight, you may want to continue exploring Calgary this morning before beginning your journey to Banff.
The scenery will be stunning on this drive and make sure you visit Bow Falls, Lake Minnewanka, Surprise Corner and the Hoodoos on your way.
Once in Banff you may wish to experience the Banff Gondola. The distance of 127 km can be covered in around 1 ½ hours, but of course you should take the day to explore en route.
Your 2nd day here in Banff is yours to continue exploring the nearby mountain trails, the Upper Hot Springs, the local museums or if golf is your game, why not book a round at Banff Springs Hotel.

Day 4- 5
Banff to Lake Louise
Today, you can venture into Yoho National Park en route to Lake Louise. Here you’ll see Spiral Tunnels, Emerald Lake and a natural rock bridge that spans the Kicking Horse River.
The drive to Lake Louise is short, but today is all about the sightseeing on the way. Once you arrive in Lake Louise, check into your iconic hotel, the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and the rest of your day is at leisure.
On your 2nd day here, you’re free to relax and take in the spectacular views, or if you prefer, you can participate in local activities such as hiking, canoeing, mountain biking, fishing or horseback riding. All of these activities can be arranged at your hotel tour desk.

Day 6 - 7
Lake Louise to Jasper/the Icefields Parkway and the Ice Explorer
Today you’re heading from Lake Louise to Jasper, but en route you can visit the Icefields Parkway and the Ice Explorer at Athabasca Glacier for an exhilarating experience. The Columbia Icefield is the largest concentration of ice south of the Arctic Circle and your guide on the tour will point out the interesting geological features of this ancient glacier. We recommend you stop for lunch after the glacier tour and you’ll arrive in Jasper late afternoon. Your hotel, the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is located in the UNESCO world heritage site, Jasper National Park.
The following morning you can head out to visit the attractions and peaks of Jasper National Park. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax or carry on exploring.

Day 8
Jasper to Kamloops
Welcome aboard the Rocky Mountaineer Gold Leaf service to Kamloops in the heart of British Columbia’s interior. You’ll pass the river valleys of the Monashee and the Cariboo Mountains as well as the spectacular Continental Divide. The highlights will include Pyramid Falls, Mount Robson and the Yellowhead pass.

Day 9
Kamloops to Vancouver
Your continuing journey on the Rocky Mountaineer today will see dramatic scenery changes as you move from the interior to the coast. You’ll appreciate the Gold Leaf service as your camera works overtime. You’ll see forests, lush green fields, canyons, after leaving the desert like interior.
This evening you’ll arrive in Vancouver and disembark the Rocky Mountaineer. Your luxury hotel is well located, just steps away from the shopping and entertainment of Vancouver. If this is your last night, take time to celebrate your trip with the nightlife Vancouver has to offer.
