Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve
This morning you transfer back to Cape Town airport for your scheduled domestic flight to Nelspruit. Here, you change onto a scheduled light aircraft flight to Chitwa Chitwa.
Originally a private family retreat, Chitwa Chitwa private game lodge earned its name as an affectionate ode to the aging giraffe bull who shared the lakeside home as an extended member of the Brink family. According to the owner, Charl Brink, the majestic arrival of this regal relative was always signaled by the creaking of his old joints - and still today, his watchful essence is felt presiding over the lodge.
The private game lodge is magnificent and graceful in appearance, yet humble enough to evaporate into the surrounding beauty of the unspoiled bush of the Sabi Sand.

Details
Tswalu Kalahari Game Reserve
Transfer this morning for 2 scheduled light aircraft flights to Tswalu Kalahari Game Reserve via Johannesburg. Tswalu's main property, the Motse, nestles at the foot of the Korannaberg mountains, facing westwards across the grasslands of the Kalahari. Motse means “village” in Tswana and our village consists of just nine spacious and secluded “legae” (another Tswana word, for “little house”) or suites.
Each suite has a spacious bedroom with an open fire and a sumptuous en-suite bathroom with both indoor and outdoor shower. Your private sun deck overlooks a watering hole.
The Motse accommodates no more than 20 guests at any one time to make for a truly intimate Kalahari safari experience. The main house is a spectacular space in which to meet, with its elevated decks and elegant lounges. An infinity pool offers an endless view over the savannahs and a secluded spa is designed to complete your total relaxation. The mezzanine library is equipped with satellite tv (the Motse has Wi-Fi access throughout) and its museum cases display rare artefacts from the area. All profits from our exclusive Foundation Gift Shop go directly to fund important new research on the reserve.
Game drives at Tswalu are a unique experience because guests have their own vehicles, guide and tracker. The expert Field Guides have been specially trained in Kalahari wildlife and each contributes personally to the constant programme of research and conservation on the reserve.
3 nights:
Tswalu Kalahari Reserve
Fully Inclusive including (Local brand) drinks and game drives.
Day 11
Last day and transfer via light aircraft to Johannesburg International airport
Departure - We recommend that you arrive at the international airport 3 hours prior to your departure flight (or 2 hours if travelling business class). It is recommended that you check in online for your departure flight so that you can avoid long queues at the airport check in counters. On line check in is available for most airlines 24 hours before your flight. Your hotel will be able to help you with this if necessary. We wish you a pleasant journey back home or to your next destination at the end of your magical South African experience.
